For Patent Practitioners

At the first glance, the patent laws, regulations, processes, and practices in patent around the world are similar. However, in practice, they are quite different in some aspects. The Japanese patent process is no exception, which sometimes confuses patent practitioners due to uniquenesses in some procedures. There are several measures or rules in Japan patent system which are not adapted by other IP offices. I provide expertise on the Japan patent prosecution. If you need to know about Japan patent practice, granting process, or if you have problems with the next steps on applications in the examination process, I can help you find a solution. As an independent patent attorney, I can give second opinion.

The OJPC provides you with the latest information on a specific practice/measure or topics of the patent practice you are interested in. You can save time in researching articles of your interests.
