We missed an important detail regarding the graph that displays the number of patent applications submitted to the Japanese Patent Office in September 2023. The graph shows an increase of approximately 30% compared to the previous four years, which is remarkable. This increase has led to much speculation, and one theory is that it may be related to Softbank's announcement of the surge in AI-related patent applications.
